Any one has philatelic material featuring the topic I mentioned above? I'm kinda trying to pursuing the theme I mentioned. Stamps featuring things like passport control, airport dining, inflight entertainment, baggage reclaim.. You get my point? I'll start the ball rolling. I know this will be a very difficult topic.. Everyone please show something..

This painting is called "In the taiga will be built the cities". It is a rare story : a construction worker in the airport awaiting departure. At his feet is a bag with a luggage tag, and we see in the window the planes and logo Aeroflot Soviet Union: |

Air Jamaica flight attendant, 1972 Jamaica SG 352 (One of my favourite parts of SCF, the unusual topical that sends you off looking through your long neglected albums again!) |

Another Jamaican stamp. Palisadoes International Airport, showing control tower, taxiing plane, and - erm - what is that vehicle? One of those little "tugs" that pulls the nose of the plane? I don't know! Edit - no its more like a forklift sort of thing. Stamp is SG 227, issued 1964 |

Wow! SG numbers added, that's great Stampgal Quote: Wow! Never realised that there were some stamps on this topic. Me too, I really had to search to get anything close. I recall recently an SCF member posting a picture of a person in an airline seat, table down, and tucking into some prawns, I looked everywhere (including the food thread) but failed. I have squillions of the Ozzie Quarantine stamps if you want some. |

Wow! Stamp featuring someone on the plane eating prawns? From what country? I've gotta make a thorough search! Another one found: How about stamps featuring passport counters? Or maybe stamps featuring a taxi ride to the airport? |

Here is an image of a stamp depicting a woman with a parasol at Wattay Airport, designed by Laotian artist Ng Cam, engraved by Michel Monvoisin, and issued by Laos on March 30, 1965 to publicize French aid(as one of a set of four stamps recognizing foreign aid), Scott No. 104. - nethryk |
