Folks - I just had to show off my first completed page of my Egypt collection mounted on Steiner pages. I'm pretty happy how they turn out. Hopefully the scan comes through clear.

I collect Egypt, and was really looking forward to this,
unfortunately your scan is a little small :(

The page looks like it is very nice, nicely balanced,
and you passed my mount irritaion (stamps wonky in mount)
with flying colours! :)

So Steiner does not place Air at B.o.b?

If you manage to get better scans in future, it will be appreciated.

Steiner does indeed place Airmail at BOB.

I guess this is a matter of semantics. Steiner places Airmail at the back of each year section, not actually in a separate BoB section after all Comm/Def stamps like many (most?) albums do. His website has several free examples and a number of recent complete US year page sets available for download. Take a look. His pages are great ... If they were editable, he would have an unbeatable product but he took that option away some time ago. Too bad.

Yes, Steiner does have airmail at BOB. Those are not airmail stamps, they just commemorate the Air Force, I believe.
I will work on getting a better scan. I had to reduce the dpi a bit in order to upload the image. Next time, I will try scanning directly at a low dpi. Thanks.

For full page, I select the entire scanner platen,
and select 200dpi
That then involves just a little adjustment to get onto SCF.

I don't think I have those aircraft issues, at least not mounted them yet if I do.

This was a 200dpi *.jpg image
about the best clarification you can get at 100Kb for SCF
Your finer deatils should be evident as will your'steiners text.
A page of dupesI keep for Postmarks.

As did I for 4-5 years.
Thanks Laurie for those nice words.
There is considerable expense to begin an album
Steiner set (Say $50)
Binder to Hold 100 pages ($6)
Computer printer Monochrome ($80)
Sheet protectors (heavy) $12 (accomodates 200 pages)
Stamp Mounts open top Hawid $8-$12 pack
Fiskar paper cutter c$30
Double side archival tape $6
All items available from Officeworks Aust. excepting mounts.
That's around $200
The resultant enjoyment (5 fold)
I would have been hoping to recoup the money should I have ever sold
(Mounted collections always fare well at auction)
I have willed my collection.

Have I teased you to begin?
