Was sold at auction last week for... CDN $6,325



Only two are known on the 2-cent and any from Amherst NS are worth thousands. There are only 2 US precancels that could top this price.

Interesting alright. However, I don't think I have to worry about it being in my precancel collection.

Just goes to show you that Canadian precancels are alive and well.

Amherst precancel is among the most difficult to get along with Sydney and Chatham
