Hi All

I have some postcards with stamp images. These are newer ones. The very first one is a "Hallmark" card printed w/o any specific reason. The rest are postcards mostly issued for shows or auctions.

I believe I picked these up at INTERPHIL76 - I still have three un-opened packs.

Thanks for posting, Bujutsu. I love collecting postcards like these! When I have time, I'll scan some.

Hal, have you ever thought of putting one of your INTERPHIL packs up for auction?

Great cards Hal

I would have to guess that it would be just as much a challenge to collect postcard sets as it is for some of the stamps themselves.

I have a couple of placemats (dinner types from restaurants) that I will scan once I find them in my stock sheets.

For the record, the cards are marked OKPEX 76 BICENTENNIAL POSTCARDS; Oct 1-2-3- 1976 -- but I know I never attended that show; the cards were obtained at INTERPHIL.

How about this, rather than auction the three cards packs, how about the first three people who contact by e-mail indicating they would want a pack, are welcome to one for $4.00 (covers my original cost, postage & mailing). I have one broken pack (shown) available for $3.00. ALL proceeds will be donated to charity. (Only available to residents of the US.)

How does that sound?

La crem de la crem. These are Ottmar Ziehar cards. All of them are orinal except for the one Netherlands stamp card. The Switzerland one is also genuine but is a Henry Heller card and just as good.

Hope you like these. I really think these cards are fantastic. I would have put some of my coin postcards by Ottmar in here but thought it would be blasphemous in a stamp forum

Sorry if this is too long but thought I would get this done in one foul swoop as they say <G>.

LOL - I just noticed these, more stamp ephemera. These images are from a "Majesta" kleenex box. And I anticipate your question to which I will answer - "No, I am not keeping these"

I just had to show them.

But you MUST keep them!!

You could use them for sorting stamps. I have about 10 Kleenex boxes labeled for sorting. For example, one is for perfins, one is for precancels, etc. This makes it easy to make up auction lots.

Very green of you! I would probably cut that box apart and use it to make a postcard or two.

That's a great idea!

I didn't do it to be "green."
I did it because the boxes fit perfectly in this narrow slot on my shelf:

And now, to get back on topic. Here's a contribution:

Wow, neat ideas alright.

I am searching for more room for all my stuff as it as. I don't think I'll be able to store all those kleenex boxes lol.
