Found this little gem in a box of collectibles recently, I have absolutely no idea about collectible stocks, can someone tell me about this piece?

I don't know the value as a collectible but this is an interesting article involving Palmer oil.

I saw that in one of my many searches for the company, interesting to think that this company became Coca Cola

On a more realistic note, here's a newspaper article (from 1911) that shows the formation of the Palmer Union Oil Company:

As far as value is concerned, there are a number of different varieties of those stock certificates that were issued through the years. A search on the internet shows that many of them are for sale from $25 to $50 (maximum). Just as with stamps, value has much to do with the condition and desirability of the specific item, and the recent connection with that Coca-Cola lawsuit certainly hasn't hurt the value, but just don't expect to become a millionaire because of it!

I'm happy with that actually, I paid $40 for the box and if I managed to sell it for $30-$40, I could make my money back.
