Starting To Appreciate Souvineer Foldouts

Interesting group, shame the stamp is missing from a few, but it seems to happen a lot with post cards. Bought a lot once that a family had collected, some of whom collected stamps, and peeled them of the card.
I knew you'd find lots of threads to add to in this forum. Keep posting, Lots of us like postcards!
Had to laugh at the "Queen to the Beaches" card, as I spent the summer of 1959 about 1/2 mile from the "Pike" in Long Beach.

Here's a nice two-fer: an SPF bearing censor tape, postmarked 19440630 in Girvan UK.

There is a long letter, handwritten in pencil, on the back of the strip of six photos, but it would be troublesome & invasive to scan, and was mostly winky-winky "sorry you can't visit right now" family humor.

I think this one is in need of a bump! I found a very old fold-out (for a buck!) from the 1907 Jamestown Exposition. This is certainly the oldest one in my collection -- do they go back much further? Technically, I wonder whether it qualifies as a postcard. The back side of the wrapper is blank, with no indication about how to mail it, but the option was certainly there.

Here's an interesting fold out from WW1, highlighting the soldiers to be, horses that could well be going to war and some of the more pleasant diversions at Camp Lewis, near Tacoma Washington. It's also listed on eBay starting at $10 if anyone is interested in having it.
