On January 21, 1955 French Equatorial Africa issued this 100f airmail stamp (Sc #C40) depicting Kotoko fishermen and their long canoes with nets.

From wikipedia, "The Kotoko engage in fishing (with the aid of their long canoes) and in agriculture. The fish they catch is subsequently smoked or dried, then sold in local markets."

Ireland issued its set of two 2001 EUROPA stamps in both water-activated gum sheetlet and self-adhesive coil formats. Both sets of stamps were denominated in the old pence and new eurocent denominations, but both of the self-adhesive coilss are the same,30p/38c value. Theme of the stamps is "water resources".

Here are the fly fishing/angling designs from the two sets. Water-activated 32p/41c stamp is Hibernian #C1102, and the self-adhesive coil stamp is #C1104.
