Austria and the coffee house

The origin of the Viennese coffeehouse has become a legend: in 1683 left the Turks bags of green beans at the gates of Vienna.
According to a popular legend soldier Jerzy Franciszek Kulczycki found these bags
and opened the first café in the Vienna in a house the Blue Bottle.
One day he mixed sugar and milk into the bitter brew and Wiener Melange was born.

Hett kaffe - hot coffee

Black as night, hot as hell, pure as an angel, sweet as love.
With those words, describing the French diplomat Talleyrand (1754-1838) his love for coffee.
It's probably many who agree with him, with 400 billion cups drunk a year, coffee is the world's most popular beverage.
The coffee came to Sweden in the 1700s, thanks to Charles XII, who took it home with them from Turkey.
