Was Louis Riel an opera singer
The issue is "Canadian Opera"
not "Canadian Opera
Singers."
Louis Riel is generally considered the most famous Canadian Opera to date written for the 1967 Centennial. And yes in this three act opera, the titular character is hanged in the final act.
As to ugly stamps from Canada, there are some semi-postals that are rough, especially one subject. As to childish designs mentioned (years) earlier in the thread there are some of those as well. However as they are sold for good causes, I will leave it there.
EDIT: Yes, I am going there....twice
1. I store my some of my Canadian semi-postals in a stock book or in mounts in an album to insure the mental health stamp remain unhinged.
2. While I know I decrease their value, I believe hinged is better than unhinged for the mental health stamp issues.
