It's nice to see interest in these cancels. I was going to post the War Creek, KY cover but didn't because I never received it. I was sorta kinda bummed at my mistake. The image was the one I downloaded from the seller after I won it .

hy-brasil has been working away on a new Stamp Smarter Community project for 1895-2017 US fancy cancels. Between this new database and the existing 1870-1894 US fancy cancel database we are closing in on 7000 cancels listed and freely available online.

I just sold an ear of corn 20th century fancy (said to be from Fairfield IA from 1928) on eBay. Had no idea what it was worth, just took a guess and someone agreed.
