I have one of those Jackson, MI precancels on a one-cent stamp. It always catches your eye:

I love this one. I didn't know it was a precancel when I first discovered it. Makes a faulty stamp more interesting/

Trainwreck,

Super nice precancel!! Centering of stamp and precancel are almost perfect! Literally "socked on the nose". Rutherford is peeking out between Bangor and Maine! Love it. PC's this nice are rare birds.

I never registered Rutherford peeking through the precancel, but there he is watching us. Yes, the alignment is quite good. My favorite aspect is the red.

Thanks, Robert

I just found this San Francisco item in a big pile of kiloware. Luckily they put the hyphen in the right spot.

I've posted this before, but here's a fun precancel to find. The city is, of course, Brooklyn, NY, but the right stamp incorrectly uses the letter "X" instead of "K" so it reads Brooxlyn, NY!

Hey Wt1! My 3c Kansas Overprint has a "K" that also looks a lot like an "X". Tried to enhance, but not much better.
