KlausR - I'm not sure this man is actually rafting, but "going with the flow" I would like to contribute this image of a stamp depicting a logger, printed by photogravure, and issued for use in Rio Muni in 1964 as one of a set of three stamps commemorating "25 years of peace," Scott No. 49.

Hi nethryk,

looks good, Michel says "logger", so it would fit. Is added to my want list. Date of issue is actually February 22, 1965.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting timber rafters, designed by Auguste Böcskör, combined engraved by Maria Magdalena Laurent and photogravure, and issued by Austria on August 25, 2000 to commemorate the International Meeting of Rafters, held in Carinthia, Scott No. 1824.

The Drina is a 346 km long river which forms a large portion of the border between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. One of the two stamps depicts log rafting on the Drina.
