Very nice series and you have some nice shades too. I once collected Egypt and found this series fascinating. I remember searching for months for the Litho-framed high values !
Great stuff and keep up the good work.

I'm in the process of incorporating several stamp accumulations with my own and upgrading my old albums. I may have to put Egyptian definitives next in line. Nice stamps all around.

I thought I remembered Amr mentioning snow a few years ago. I could be wrong. Amr, please turn the yellow stamp up the correct way, my OCD is running wild :) Steve |

Amazing. Yes This time it is Cairo or to be more precise it is New Cairo (a new city outside Cairo) but unfortunately I live in Giza. It was very cold this time than what happened in 2010. Back then it was less cold but it rained small ice cubes where I live that hammered the windows and it hurt when it falls on you. It was my first time to see snow but still I didnt see snow flakes till now. My brothers home is in another city and it snowed there in both times. He saw the ground white I hope some day to see snow as I see in TV ... but I prefer to see it abroad than in Egypt as it was a very cold night and we are not used to such a weather |

A bump. not for stamps, but for some interesting ephemera. WWII German propaganda. My daughter's boyfriend tells me it reads something along the lines of Egyptian citizens, the triumphant Italian and German armies are advancing quickly in Egypt. They have raised the Italian and German flags to be a symbol of freedom in your eyes and they will soon fall between the green flag of independent Egypt at the hour of your liberation. The hated English that have oppressed you since 1882 are leaving your beautiful lands and setting you free. Come and join the soldiers of the Axis in driving the common enemy to the sea. The English have set up obstacles in every way. King Farouk Independent Egypt |
