The first set of Israel was issued on May 16, 1948, two days after the establishment of the state. It is a set of nine stamps depicting old coins from the period of the Kingdom of Israel and the Kingdom of Judea. The name "Israel" is not appear on the stamps since, in the time they were printed, the name of the new state was not yet determined (The proposals for the name were: Eretz Israel, Israel or Judea), hence the inscription "Hebrew Post" (Doar Ivri) in Hebrew and Arabic was written on them.

Several SS's and stamps issued by Israel show the "Doar Ivri" stamps:

To publicize the "Jerusalem '73" stamp exhibition, a set of three SS's was issuedon March 25, 1974. The SS's depicting the three high values of the "Doar Ivri" stamps. The original stamps depicting an ancient Jewish coin issued by the Jewish rebels in 68/69 CE during the first rebellion against the Roman empire:

To mark the Philately Day, a stamp shows "Doar Ivri" stamp was issued on December 12, 1991:

To publicize the opening of the postal and philatelic museum in Tel-Aviv, Israel issued on June 11, 1991, a SS depicting three stamps: Ottoman stamp, British mandate on Palestine stamp and Doar Ivri stamp - all were used in different periods in Eretz Israel:

There are more stamps and SS's show the Doar Ivri stamps. I will show them next time.
