The first set of stamps of the Kingdom of Laos was issued on November 13, 1951. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Laotian philately, the Kingdom of Laos issued on October 31, 1971 a set of four stamps and a souvenir sheet contains three stamps. Each stamp depicts design from famous former Laotian stamp. All the original stamps depicted on the stamps were designed by the French-Laotian artist Marc Leguay and engraved by Jean Pheulpin except the stamps depict "Lao Woman" which engraved by Raoul Serres:

To celebrate the unification of the Dodecanese Islands with Greece, a long set was issued by Greece in several parts during 1947-1950. Three of the stamps show former stamps issued in 1912 for use in the Aegean Islands depicting Helios (only the values were changed to the actual values):

To publicize the 1964 International Stamp Exhibition, East Germany issued on September 23, 1964 a set of three stamps, each shows former GDR's stamp:

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the first stamps, Niuafo'ou issued on May 3, 1993 a set of two stamps. Each stamp depicting two former stamps: a stamp from the first set issued by Niuafo'ou in 1983 (which is also SOS) and a stamp from the Prehistoric life set issued in 1993:

To celebrate the Stamp Day, Greece issued on November 15, 1974 the following stamp shows a stamp issued for use in Crete in 1908:

To publicize the "Stamp Day", Madagascar issued on May 6, 1966, a stamp depicting the first stamp of a long definitive set issued in 1903 for use in the island:

The 1903 original stamp shows zebu and lemur and it is the first French colony stamp shows primate:
