Yes, on the stamp still says "Espana", but for us, is Catalonia and we are working to change our political status.

Here is one from St Kitts-Nevis. I am sorry the date is not all that great to read (ink on shiney surfaces tends to rub off. Best I can see is "17 something 1970" and "State something". Oh well just thought I would share it :

The 400th Anniversary of the Heidelberger Catechism.

Q/ Is the match of subject of the stamp & card close enough for this to be a maxicard? Or, is this card more properly classified as an FDoI souvenir?

Cheers,

/s/ ikeyPikey

The short answer is No.

"The Heidelberg Catechism (1563), one of the Three Forms of Unity, is a Protestant confessional document taking the form of a series of questions and answers, for use in teaching Reformed Christian doctrine."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heidelberg_Catechism

While there could be concordance of place and time, IF that postcard shows Heidelberg around 1535, the concordance of subject is missing.
A document, and a view of the city where that document was published.

So, it's an interesting philatelic souvenir, until proven that it's more.

Pure speculation: what if you declare that the subject of this "maxicard" is "writing, with Gothic fonts"?
Circumstantial evidence suggests that in a city like Heidelberg, at the time of that drawing, there WAS INDEED Gothic writing outside and inside some shops, church, etc.

Again, FIP maximaphily wants your maxicard to have VISIBLE concordance, not assumed/presumed/inferred.
Even if you might have a valid point about that.
The best postcard would show a page from that document, for example.
