Lithuania 1991. Two different semi-postal postal stationeries of the Fourth Lithuanian Sports Games. First cover is from Vilkaviskis (Kaunas) to Jelgava, Latvia. Second cover is from Vilnius to Essen, Germany.

Interestingly, the first cover is intended for registered mail use, but is not so used, while the second, lower denominated cover, is sent as registered mail.

An KGV Indian postal card used in Aden:

I believe the postal card was mailed on 24 FEB 18 from Aden to Singapore. A 3p and a 1/2anna KGV Indian stamps were used to uprate this postal card.

Perhaps the message is about buying stamps.

I am a little surprised that the postal card was not censored.

Best wishes,
AndrewG

New South Wales

This card is for the 3 pence rate "For United Kingdom, &c., Overland, via Italy." Smauggie posted the 2 pence version ("For the United Kingdom, by the long Sea Route") in this thread about two years ago. See the discussion following smauggie's post for more information about the embossed "postage stamp" from 1838 commemorated on this card.
