Chasa: A question on those LA precancels on the Postage Due Stamps. Is it an optical illusion or does the first stamp (top row) have a larger "L" in the word "ANGELES"? I have a couple just like that (not as pronounced as the larger "L" in "LOS" as shown in the bottom row of your collection, but still slightly larger than the rest of the letters.

Anyone care to comment about this one. It seems I have an ink blob in place of the "C" in "CAL"? Do I just chalk it up to a damaged print plate that applied the precancel or is it a variety?

WT1, I have a few of the Los Angeles, but none with the missing "C" in "Cal"

I did find an Adrian Mich that is interesting only in the fact of the top left corner. A bit beat up, but the ink splay is interesting.

The letter spacing for this Los Angeles Ca. precancel seem to be a bit off.
