The German Post launched in 2013 " Handyporto" Service , that allows, with the help of an SMS text message ( at 22122 number) , an answer made of 12 numbers that is recognized by the automatic mail sorting systems as an appropriate franking for postal dispatch.
Similar systems are working in : Denmark ( Mobileporto, April 1st, 2011, SMS number - 1900 ) , Iceland ( SMS Frimerki, December 2011, SMS number -1900), Switzerland ( SMS -Briefmarke, September 2013, SMS number-414)
