Not in my mailbox, but a soon-to-be purchase...
Just finished going through some old albums from a local stamp dealer, and am pleased with what I found.
With COVID, him winding his stamp shop down and transitioning to working from his garage, he now lets me take home boxes of old albums, album pages, and stock pages to go through, at 10 cents a stamp. (I guess it makes sense; safer COVID-wise, and he gets money he might not get otherwise with lots of stamp venues being closed)
Anyway, it's nice to be able to look though the stamps on my own time, and spend the time needed to ID them and determine if I want them.
Here's a selection of what I'm getting (haven't paid him yet!). I realize some of it has a pretty low catalog value, but I find them NEAT historically and visually....and/or I hadn't found any yet (some of the overprints).
Yet, some of it actually is "relatively" valuable. In my eyes, I guess 10 cents for a $5-$10+ CV stamp is hard to turn down! I can always trade it later on!
