My APS renewal notice was within the plastic packaging of the American Philatelist magazine so not sure about a stamp because I threw the notice out. |

John Becker is correct - in this mailing the APS used precancels and they do not need a cancel. Usually APS mail is cancelled when it is just a one of a kind letter or when they mail out stamp books etc Be glad they at least use a stamp!

Not in my mail box but my Dad received his annual Christmas gift from me - the 2023 Scott Specialized. This is all he wants. |

Quote: My APS renewal notice was within the plastic packaging of the American Philatelist magazine so not sure about a stamp because I threw the notice out. The APS dues notice was a separate stand-alone mailing. The envelope in the plastic bag containing the recent AP was a solicitation for AARP, or similar. |

Did the APS approach the AARP to include or did AARP do research and decided APS had a lot of people over 50? |

The last two US xmas seals to make my classic collection complete. I think it cuts off in the 1970's but I've got at least one example of each in a very neat album. Just like my US ducks. |

Received today 3 Lebanon FOTW postcards. One of them I will remail to the sender from Lebanon. The other 2 are for me to keep and use. |
