It is the logo of the Illustrated Postcard Company, New York and Leipzig, 1905 - 1914. Just google the name "Illustrated Postcard Company New York" and you should get more info.

You are most welcome. here are a couple more of their cards showing famous WW1 era US warships. The 'Kearsarge' was named after its Civil War forerunner, famous for its engagement and defeat of the 'Alabama' off the coast of Cherbourg.
