Great postcards shown above everyone, and nice postcard topic. Bumping this old thread to show you a new postcard in my collection. I found it at the recent Minnesota Stamp Expo, from the dealer "Geezer's Tweezers" for only 50 cents. This one shows Mexico stamps, postmarked with a nice Tijuana cancel dated 21 May 1909. The message says, " To let you know that we are abroad - came in an auto - am well. Ida L." I would think that driving to Tijuana, Mexico in 1908 would be quite an adventure. I wonder where Ida left from, and what auto she was driving or riding in? Linus   |
