General: I can't see the pictures posted under Precancels the past week or so. Is it me or have they been removed? I tried F5 and logging out and in again, without luck. I seem ok on other parts of the Forum.

Second: What does "press applied" mean for eg Herman, PA T-729 and how do I tell the difference between those and any other 729s that might be floating around(or aren't there any others?)?

Finally an add-on. I have a couple Herman PA stamps that I would think are just plain vanilla T-841, but in the notes of the person I got them from, he says "New type" - yet there's nothing "new" listed in Brunell or PSS T&T (and they aren't T-895 which I know is often missed in the older T&T pages). They are the modern 1c and 3c birds.

1. SCF server went down a few weeks ago and I think we lost some pictures.
2. press-applied will look clearer, like 200-series... search for footnote 17 & 18 for other examples.
3. there are no notes on new Herman PA's so I suspect it is just some unhelpful verbiage
