I am puzzled by the notations on the address'n'message side of this PPC.
I'm thinking chess, of course, but what means what?
Starting in the upper left:
The '2.2' would be 02/Feb, and the '3.2' would be 03/Feb, corresponding to the 'Time Taken: 1 day'.
The two single letters to the left of the dates do not correspond to the initials of either the addressor or addressee, and I do not know of a language in which they would represent 'received' & 'transmitted'.
Q/ What means those two letters?
Q/ What means the boxed '19/3'?
Q/ What means the '9/1716'?
Q/ Are the '10)' and '11)' move/turn numbers?
Q/ Does '25x36' mean 'piece on 25 (of spaces numbered 1-64) takes the piece on 36'?
Q/ If 'yes', how would moving to an empty space be noted?
Q/ If the player is asking for a postcard, how were moves 1-9 transmitted?
Q/ If it ain't chess, what is it?
