Magical Mystery Postcard #7 Mr Tambourine Man's Script

My first thought was 'shorthand', but I cannot identify the system.

http://www.alysion.org/handy/althandwriting.htm ... the script does not look like any of these

http://pitmanshorthand.homestead.co...tsample.html ... but it does look a little closer to these

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shorthand

My Contemporary Asian Scripts Consultant says it does not look like some flavor of Chinese or Japanese.

Lesser mysteries include:

Q/ Were those tambourines drawn on top of his head? Enhanced? Clarified?

Q/ What is the name of the NJ town in the cds? Arlington?

Cheers,

/s/ ikeyPikey

One thought: maybe a very personal, or perhaps inappropriate message is hidden within the markings that look to be gibberish, and the writer purposely disguised this writing.

The tambourines may have been retouched because they were moving and blurry in the original photograph.

It looks like a language from the Indian subcontinent.

Looks like Arlington, which currently is part of the Town of Kearny in Hudson County. Zip Code is 07032.
