So I was reading one of the back issues of the American Revenuer and their was a reference to EB Sterlings catalogs. I'll Google these types of things since google is rapidly adding to their book project library. They hadn't scanned one, but one came up listed at a book seller for $7. It just came in today and it's just as interesting for it's typesetting as it's content. Here's a few pages...

Southpaw - I'm late responding to your post because I was on vacation, but here is an E.B. Sterling ad cover. The horseshoe shaped black mark is a sticker redacting a facsimile of the 5¢ Garfield banknote stamp. It was illegal to illustrate postage stamps back then, and he was apparently forced to redact the image on his ad envelopes.
