Luxembourg also had a globe on their 2006 Europa stamp. A photograph of young folks supporting a globe, framed by an iphone, designed by T. DaSilva.

The stamp issued by Israel in 2009 shows dramatically what can happen if global warming continues.

Maybe the drawing shown on the Belgian stamp of 2010 was done by a child (Louise van Goylen), the concept is dramatically clear.

Set of three stamps, one depicts the Monument of Muhammad Tarag'ay Ulug'bek (1394-1449) in Tashkent. The statue features the astronomer/mathematician with a globe on his side.

Here are images of the two airmail stamps in a set depicting globes, designed by Italian artist Renato Garrasi (1915-1990), printed by photogravure, and issued by Argentina to publicize the 4th Reunion of Pan-American Cartographers, held in Buenos Aires, Scott Nos. C55 & C56.

April 28, 1986
The 1986 World Exposition on Transportation and Communication (Expo 86) was held in Vancouver, British Columbia from May 2 until October 13, 1986. One of the four commemorative stamps shows the large globe at the EXPO Center.

Set of three, one stamp commemorates the Persian polymath Nasir al-Din al-Tusi (1201 - 1274). Tusi convinced Hulegu Khan to construct the Rasad Khaneh observatory in Azarbaijan in 1259.

Here are images of the three similar engraved stamps in a set depicting Faisal II (1935-1958), the last King of Iraq, and a globe, and issued by Iraq on March 3, 1956 to publicize the Third Arab Postal Conference, held in Baghdad, Scott Nos. 164-66. Note: I suspect, but have not yet confirmed, that this set was designed and engraved by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co., Ltd.
