On April 21, 1970 Greece issued its EUROPA set of three values. Two of the stamps, the 2.50 d and 4.50 d values, are the common design type of 1970, an interwoven circle of threads. The other stamp, the 3 drachma value (Sc #986), shows an owl with its head formed by two post horns. It seems to be out of place ( a "cuckoo's egg"?).
