I collect the back of the book Belgium Parcel Post and Railway stamps, mainly for the cancellations. I found this one for St. Gilles, which seemed a bit unusual, referring to the to the Hotel Communal. Has anyone seen others of this nature?
St. Gilles is one of the nineteen municipalities located in the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium. The postmark was probably from the Brussels-Midi train station.
Thank you for the reply, Timm. I mounted it under St. Gilles which is on my list of known cancellations. I was wondering if perhaps it may have been on a luggage tag that was postmarked at the hotel before being taken to the station.
