I have what I believe is a cut square and an entire envelope of UO54. I'm having trouble with the color of the stamp on the envelope though. In the catalog it is listed as red. It appears orange on the envelope and red on the cut square. The scan didn't reproduce the orange as well as I'd hoped. The envelope also appears to be laid paper. The cut square is on regular paper. Neither characteristic of color or paper type can be found in Scott for this listing. Is there another publication recommended for Postal Stationary which is more comprehensive? I'm not sure if I'm comparing apples to oranges here or if both are simply different versions of UO54.
On the cut square there appears to be a degree of over inking.
