November 18 Quiz brought me to this thread and I enjoyed the collection a lot! Great topic as it recalls many aspects and history of social activities on earth, via a simple icon. I found more to add - this is the first one.

Spirograph!
A building where my work space is in, in East London, was previously used by a plastic toy manufacturer and one of their products were Spirograph, originally developed as a drafting tool. Full of cogwheels.

Bicycle cogwheel of course! - and it says on the bottom "Shipwreck STC Steel"... is the frame or cogwheel made by reclaimed steel?

Another set of cogwheel and wheat - plus experimental flask for science. The second stamp: symbol of industry - cogwheel, pylon, electric insulators, factory chimney and smoke.

Many elements from above two stamps are in one - plus fish and nuclear symbol.
