Ten years ago, I spent my birthday at Many Glaciers Hotel! Wonderful old lodge and spectacular views.

Did it still look like the picture on the postcard?

I wasn't sure whether to post this here or on the Fierce Winters threads. But since this was a fairly common occurrence at Paradise Lodge, I'll add it here. Love the old steam shovel! If you jump back to the previous page, there's another card of the lodge and you can see how high this snow is piled.

I found a bunch more NP postcards, mostly from the Grand Canyon. These are the first two that made it to the scanner. I especially like the first one, which has a great message on the back and a nice, clear territorial Arizona postmark.

Picked up some more early national park views, including a number with Arizona territorial postmarks.

This last one I hadn't heard of before. I wonder what these trees look like now.
