Rod, Here's the post. You were searching for "Foch", but the text was "Fock". That perfin is Gustav Fock, a book dealer in Leipzig, 1892-1905. |

The G.v.St. perfin is Gebr. von Streit (von Streit Brothers), a glass factory, Berlin, 1913-1931. |

Cool, a glass factory! This next perfin is DB over R, or DBR, out of 41 holes punched, only 15 are open, with 26 being what Rod called "blind punctures". Thanks PostmasterGS! |

Unknown user in Rathenow, 1933-1942.
There's a similar perfin that's 12/15/13 holes instead of 12/15/14, and one of its users was Deutsche Bank in Ratibor. It's possible the unknown user of yours was Deutsche Bank in Rathenow, but it's blank in the catalog for a reason. |

Here are a few I've had over 60+ years, looked at them perhaps a couple of times since, wondered for maybe a couple of seconds which companies the perfs stood for and then put them back again. F.V. Horizontal flip in negative. Horizontal flip in negative.
Perhaps you could look at these PM. Thanks. |

Thank you PostmasterGS.
Looks like none of these businesses survived the war years.

Not necessarily. Those dates are merely the dates for which the usage of those perfins is known. |

Hello from a newbie in England! I took these in as a swap and have become fascinated by the whole perfin thing - really nice historical connections. I have tried searching, but no joy. Any ideas? Cheers! :-) |
