Gangotri Temple is the seat of the goddess Ganga and the origin of the River Ganges. It is one of the four sites in the Chota Char Dham pilgrimage circuit. The original Temple was built by the Nepalese general Amar Singh Thapa.

Poland issued this stamp in 1991 to publicize the European Postal and Telecommunications Conference at the Radziwill (Presidential) Palace in Warsaw.

From wikipedia, "The presidential palace is the official residence of the Polish head of state and president alongside the Belweder Palace in Warsaw, Poland. Originally constructed in 1643 as an aristocratic mansion, it was rebuilt and remodeled several times over the course of its existence by notable architects."

Cathedral of St. Bartholomew is a Gothic church located on the Main Square in Plzen, Czech Republic. It was founded around 1295 and became a cathedral in 1993, when the Pilsner diocese was created.

Pontigny Abbey was a Cistercian monastery located in Pontigny on the River Serein, in the present department of Yonne. Founded in 1114, it was the second of the four great daughter houses of Cîteaux Abbey. In 1843 it was re-founded as a community of the Fathers of St. Edmund. In 1941 it became the mother house of the Mission de France.

Narodni Dom in Trieste was a multimodal building that included the Slovene theater, a hotel and numerous cultural associations. It was destroyed in 1920 and was restored from 1988 to 1990.

Collegiate Church of St. Bartholomew is a historical building in Liège, Belgium. It was built in the late 11th century and the late 12th century. The massive westwork with its twin towers were reconstructed in 1876. Additional restoration work was completed in 2006.
