Hi everyone!

Hope you all had a great week!

I came across this block of 6 precancels and noticed that the middle row was inverted. Since I know inverted precancels aren't rare, I wanted to see if the fact that the machine/employee did the top and bottom rows correctly but stamped the middle row upside down is rare, unique, collectible, etc.?

Thanks!

Anything interesting and unusual like this is "collectible". But that does not mean it is worth a lot of money.

So it's not worth $1 million? :)

I don't care about the monetary value, just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only person who found this to be a great find.

Thanks

Not the only strange thing about this. The bottom precancel bar is broken on the left side of the stamp that area66 is asking about. We need an expert like Chasa to ring in.

quoting the printed precancel catalog: Note: the entire third row of this plate is
inverted, so vertical se-tenant pairs are available.
so, not unique, modest value, yes collectable
the breaks in the bars or letters could come from mis-manufacture or mis-use - common and collectable
