Lovely little collection seemingly put together in 1944. Complete missing only 4 plate numbers (77, 222, 224, 225). There are some duplicates included.

All stamps are shown below.

Condition is quite nice overall, although there are some faults to be expected.

I did not check all of the stamps, but I checked all the pricier plates and spot checked a number of others, and all were accurately identified.

Total 2015 Scott catalog value according to my calculations is $1,356.00

Price: $225.00 shipped or best offer. U.S. addresses only. No international shipping on this lot.

Personal check or USPS money order preferred; PayPal accepted.

Thanks for looking.

Yeah, I didn't feel like taking the plate 77 from my own collection and putting it in this one just for sale...

Very nice. I have a good selection of the plates, but by no means complete. Have never gotten up the interest again to try to complete the set (minus 77 of course)

This has all you need to know and more

This one sold for just shy of 500,000 - and it's just a space-filler!

Have a look here at the cover discovered by Abed Najjar, sent from Victor Hugo in the Channel Islands to his publishers in Brussels. There are three PL77 on the cover and it has been the subject of some dispute as to whether it is genuine or not. I think you'd have to be pretty stubborn to deny it is genuine. http://victorhugocover.com/

Not necessarily. The article in The London Philatelist is worth studying. It is is nowhere nearly as frivolous as this website tries to portray. Some of the contentions in this website are suspicious just because they use such overheated rhetoric.
