Hey folks-- I found another, I think, Turkish stamp in a box lot that I can't find in Scott. Looks like a surcharged Scott 237, but after looking at each of the additional "See" notes in Scott under that set, this overprint isn't listed. Can you give me some help? I think I'll pick up a used Isfila or McDonald if I can find one. The stamps of Turkey are absolutely fascinating.....
Thanks in advance...Ray

Nigel, thanks but I'm not sure, and that's why I asked. But I tried to reply earlier to my own post, because I found the entire set on eBay when I entered Isfila....it's from a set that isn't listed in Scott from 1919.

Hey Rod. I have a couple if you'd like them. I think you have the first two but not sure about the overprint 3rd.

Extraordinary generosity.

Today I received no less than 16 Turkish Catalogues, as a FREE GIFT from SCF member "Postmaster GS"
I am rather overwhelmed. The Postage alone was over $120 AUD

Tomes from Menachim Max Mayo (Hand signed copy #8 of 500)
Dr. Andreas Birken
4 Volumes of Coles and Walker

My deepest gratitude Postmaster, I'll be donating funds to cover your costs+

Sadly, we mention the passing of Dr. Birken, who did so much for Turkish Philately. A genius.
From the Philatelic Bulletin

Some examples of the gifts.
(I am so proud to be among the family of stamp collectors)
