Had you thought of mounting the used on the back of the previous page i.e. opposite the mint? I've done this occasionally - requires pages of reasonable thickness, though. |

No, hadn't thought of that. I do use 65lb paper for my Steiner pages, so they could technically handle. However, without the frames printed, I feel it would be a disaster. And, since I already have the Scott Specialty pages, I might as well use them. The only issue with the Scott pages is the frames are a bit small, so using mounts is cumbersome. I was thinking about using top loading mounts (or cutting my Scott mounts in half) for those pages, but I think stamps would move around too much. |

I have been making Videos of my Stamp albums and journey and sharing them on Social Media channels (Video platforms). I've been trying different techniques adding music and history. It has been fun making the videos even though they are pretty basic. A lot of likes and interest from teens and young adults which has been surprising and interesting. Also slowly working on my main albums. |

hmmm I'll probably share soon- they are my first attempts so please be kind - it's not easy for a not so tech savvy girl to cobble those clips together . And of course they might have some cheese factor. Stay tuned… |

Pulled at least 500 more stamps from my Part II album with the old pages. Focusing on countries with either few stamps remaining or a decent number of CV values that exceed $2. Found a nice little set in Jugoslavia: They are hinged, but otherwise in good shape. 2012 Scott catalog shows CV $60 for the set. |

I did some philatelic readings of Linn's, TSF forum newsletter, Gibbons Stamp Monthly, and the AP. |

Quote: One seller I have recently bought a lot from is Disler in Switzerland. Thank you for this! I've long-considered going after French Colonies, but have had a wicked time finding reliable (and reasonably comprehensive) sources. |

I just won an auction on eBay for a page of Heligoland stamps that I know nothing about for £21! I just liked the colours. And they looked cool together. I'll try not to do this kind of thing too often. Didn't think I'd win! |

Saved some money. My commission bid on a Transjordan lot wasn't sufficient. Probably just as well, as I won two lots of cigarette cards yesterday. This is a busy month for auctions. |

Today I'm working on Luxembourg. It is the most recent country to capture my attention and gain my focus. Usually while working on my collection as a whole I'll find a country that I'll decide to focus my time and hobby spending on for a month or two. So far my Luxembourg collection up to 2000 (I haven't printed any pages later than that) has 839 issues. Hopefully by the end of the day it'll be closer to 870.
Once that's done I'll focus my attention back to Sweden. That collection up to 2000 has over 1500 issues. I had purchased several nice (to me) lots of Sweden and I really need to add in the issues I need from them. After that I need to sort away the duplicates. After that maybe back to Iceland, which was a previous focus, or on to another country entirely.
I have also recently been contemplating my choice in albums/binders. I have been using Lighthouse Grande binders and slipcases. They do look very nice, but are rather expensive. I have looked into using heavy duty Avery binders since they are usually less than a third of the price. My only hesitation is the lack of a slipcase. I haven't been able to find slipcases that will fit Avery binder. Only time will tell if I make a change. |

I have been busy sorting and filling my stock books with a bunch (1000's) of Canada stamps from a box of 17 albums I got at a recent auction. About half way there, and now, I need more stockbooks.... |

Finally went over 50% in my 1 stamp for every country album. 342 countries filled out of 683 printed. The latest addition was an Inini stamp I received in last week's giveaway. Also received a Maluku Selatan stamp which I added but did not count since it had no official spot. |

I finally went through about 20 years of China Steiner pages and wrote in Scott numbers. I have a bunch of stamps to put away from Orcoexpo that I got frustrated with trying to figure out where they went. |
