Hi rod222!

I'm really enjoying the SFC and your very welcoming forum personality!

I got interested by this little « stamp » from la caisse populaire Desjardins (we would deposit pocket change once a week at La caisse through school in order to learn about savings and interests!)

I did find this 5c blue savings stamp, unfortunately unavailable. But it is marked as #QCP2.

Can we assume #QCP1 for the 1 cent? And then, another one between 5 and 25 (perhaps 10?)

I'm truly enjoying this detective work!

And I'm also impressed by my newly found skills: downloading, uploading photos and quoting!! All from my phone!

I felt like adding the Alphonse Desjardins stamps!

Not in Scott, catalogue numbers are from the Van Dam revenue catalogue.

Series of 4 - QCP1 - 1c red, QCP2 - 5c blue, QCP3 - 10c brown, QCP4 - 25c green. The 10c brown being the most uncommon.

Amazing! more amazing, is why finance is not taught in primary school even today. Instead we have "pay day loans" that suck the life out of the uneducated
Missing the beauty of compound interest.

At first I thought this was a little French Delandres cinderella, then I could not find it in BIRD BEAR PRESS
Then I saw it waith a Scott number Google.

It never dawned on me to look in VAN DAM
I overlooked the obvious

Thanks to Greg

Pretty sure Arpin is who I bought mine from (2009 edition), so I'd say yes :). Good company to deal with, I've found.
