New South Wales
"Between a rock and a hard place"
Sc#33 1856 Printing Plate thickness.

The first printing plate of the NSW 2d was 3/16" thick, which became damaged.
The second Printing plate in 1859, was increased to 7/16" thick.

Due to the inability to successfully harden the 7/16" plate, the impression wore very quickly.

Western Australia : Postal Markings.
Not seen before, or any part strikes similar.
Not addressed in the WA Study Group Catalogue.
Not really sure what this means, either.

Rod222,

162 Peel. Wondering if this stamp has any scarcity rating due to the current small population, <300. Please.

Finches,
I am not the "go to" for NSW Postmarks.
Thanks for asking.
Hopefully Bobby DLR or FDS shall respond.

I only have Catalogues for Western Australia, and part of Victoria.

For the record I jagged this early "Star" Pmk
