I all

Just a couple of questions:

One - Does any catalogue, other than Scott's, list Sierra Leone v#199 perforated 14 x 14 all around??

Two: I have 3 used copies of Trinidad & Tobago # 597A surcharged 75 cents on 40 cents; however, there isn't a value given for either mint or used. My Scott's are 2011 and I am wondering if more current editions lists prices for this stamp mint or used??

Thanks a lot

Chimo

Bujutsu...

Michel Caribbean 2008/2009 catalog lists #713 with two different watermarks.

One watermark variety valued at 2.50 Euro (crown and CA in capital letters), and the other (crown and CA in script) valued mint at 10.00 Euro.

There is no value listed for used, as perhaps there are not enough on the market to determine a value.

Hope this is helpful.

Terry.

Could you describe the stamos, please? Scott numbers alone don't mean much to me.

Also....

Michel West Africa 2013 catalog lists Sierra Leone #180A (perf 14) with a mint value of 1.60 Euro and a used value of 0.20 Euro.

The perf 13x13-1-2 variety (catalog #180C) is listed with a mint value of 2.20 Euro and used at 14.00 Euro.

Cheers,
Terry

A clue as to what was on the Sierra Leone stamp would have been helpful. If you are talking about the QEII definitive 3d (Rice harvesting) from 1956, Stanley Gibbons gives perf as 14 (as for all vertical stamps from that issue) for SG214, and also has SG214a with perf 13 x 13½.

Hi all

I'll try to describe the stamps in question more clearly.

Yes, the Sierra Leone stamp is the rice harvesting issue of 1956. Scott lists only one watermark, that being Wmk #4, which is the multiple crown and script CA.
The Trinidad & Tobago stamp is a surcharge 75 cents on 40 cents from the 'bird' pictorials set from 1990 picturing a "Forked Tailed Flycatcher". Hope this helps?

Thanks to everyone for getting back to me on this.

Chimo
