One - Does any catalogue, other than Scott's, list Sierra Leone v#199 perforated 14 x 14 all around??
Two: I have 3 used copies of Trinidad & Tobago # 597A surcharged 75 cents on 40 cents; however, there isn't a value given for either mint or used. My Scott's are 2011 and I am wondering if more current editions lists prices for this stamp mint or used??
A clue as to what was on the Sierra Leone stamp would have been helpful. If you are talking about the QEII definitive 3d (Rice harvesting) from 1956, Stanley Gibbons gives perf as 14 (as for all vertical stamps from that issue) for SG214, and also has SG214a with perf 13 x 13½.
I'll try to describe the stamps in question more clearly.
Yes, the Sierra Leone stamp is the rice harvesting issue of 1956. Scott lists only one watermark, that being Wmk #4, which is the multiple crown and script CA. The Trinidad & Tobago stamp is a surcharge 75 cents on 40 cents from the 'bird' pictorials set from 1990 picturing a "Forked Tailed Flycatcher". Hope this helps?
Thanks to everyone for getting back to me on this.
