The Stamps Of Lithuania.

Thank you WYTUKAS for the pictures ,I now understand what you have . There are three different groups . The first are the full sheets of Angel and Map set of 16 . The full catalog value is $40.00 ,you could sell them about $10.00 maybe $15.00.
Second group are the Russian stamps overprinted LIETUVA ,these are privately done and the whole group very little value to a collector maybe $10.00 to a Cinderella collector .

The third group is covers{ the envelopes } ,looks like FDC covers worth about 25 cents each .

This is just random things. I have full collections of United nations, DDR, Mongolia, Cuba, USSR, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia etc. Loads of old German, Baltic stamps, some are valued at 500 or more euros each. Full sets of first day covers etc.

Perhaps you could show some of the pre-war/wartime material from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia

Here are three 'Ostland'/Baltic States WWII German occupation stamps with Lithuania cancels. The first two are 'Deutsche Dienstpost Ostland'/official service cancels. This was a separate postal system used by German officials and business people in the Baltic States. First stamp is Kauen/Kaunas and the second is Mariampole/Marijampole. This mailing system and its cancels was used only for some of the largest towns in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

The third cancel is a 'Bahnpost'/RPO type. It appears to be Kaunas to Sangruda or Sangailai, Lithuanian cancel. Both of these 'San...' towns are very small, and I can find no current rail line going through either one.

(Sanciai is a borough of Kaunas)

Obtained this 27mm x 23mm, photogravure-printed label 10-15 years ago. It appears to be Cardinal Audrys Backis, Archbishop Emeritus of Vilnius. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks in advance.
