Note: I am not sure whether the writer of the blog suggests all stamps with the inscription 'BELGIQUE BELGIUM' at the bottom are fakes, or only the Oct. 1938 with inscription at bottom is a fake.
Quote: L'unique timbre de retraite portant l'inscription (CBK octobre 1938) de la Kredietbank non répertorié d'une valeur de 0,90 cents. D'autres faux timbres ont circulé, portants l'inscription Belgique en dessous.
Any members recommend a Revenue Catalogue for Belgium? I have a Barefoot BENELUX catalogue, which is currently lost in the shambles of my European Library shelves. Would that catalogue have them?
Yes, Barefoot's Benelux catalogue includes the six stamps you listed. (As an aside, the Catalogue Officiel de Timbres Poste does not include/list those stamps.)
Believe the six stamps you show are ones recently sent to you as part of our periodic exchange.
First is 1923 series. General Revenue. P 11.5 - 14. With and without control nbrs. Brown. Your example is top half.
The second stamp is from same series. Higher values: blue.
Stamp 3. 1920. Imperf.
1923: Same design. Five values (10c, 20c, 30c, 40c, 50c) produced in lt red. P11.5.
Stamp 4. Transmission tax. (Conveyance tax on land sales.) 1921/22. P 11-12, 14 or compound. Low values: green. Upper values: blue or orange.
In the second grouping, the two top stamps (green) are Genl Revenue stamps. Issued in 1925. To replace/succeed the 1923 series. (That is, the four examples shown in your first/top box.)
