Rod, very nice souvenir sheets! Especially like the Orval ones, but that is personal. Back in the fifties and sixties I visited Belgium regularly, and that is one place where the beer tastes fantastic!

Thank you Peter,

I visit Belgium regularly, (via big screen TV) especially this time of year,
I share the Belgian passion of cycling.

The Orval sheets once seen, rarely forgotten.
(PS: The imperf sheet does exist perforated)

The precancel is NAMUR Station 1906.
The only colours I can see for the 20c
are Blue, Dark Blue, Pale Blue, and Ultramarine.

Interesting question.
Some of these block precancels, lie outside the catalogue.
Hopefully a Belgian specialist here can enlighten us.

In my catalogue (I cannot read the language) the pre cancels start at 1906 Bruxelles.
I have lots showing earlier dates.

Your 20c on the Right hand side, appears to be a "colour changeling" but best to see what other members suggest.

I had the answer in my database. (From 2008)
I have the "Officiel" catalogue mentioned in this query

The handstamped (Local) precancels are not listed, you would need a specialist catalogue.

You're most welcome.

Rod, just wondering if you have any additional information about this sheet. It appears to be the "privately trimmed" version of your sheets, mentioned in the Scott catalog. But, as Scott usually does, they kind of shortchanged us with regards to information. They basically say that they were privately trimmed and overprinted, but fail to mention by who, or for what purpose. I also have an imperf version.
