President's Welcome 2017
I wish to extend a welcome to all of our Attendees, Societies, Dealers and Exhibitors who are participating in the 67th annual Rocky Mountain Stamp Show. Our show committee members who are in charge of the show's operations and our volunteers who assist with show setup and floor activities also extend a hearty welcome.
This year we are pleased to host four national philatelic societies, one local society and more than thirty dealers. We will also have a pre-show seminar, sponsored by the Military Postal History Society, on Thursday, May 25, 2017. I hope you will have the opportunity to visit with all and participate in the seminars.
You will also have a chance to attend the 22nd Rocky Mountain Philatelic Library Auction and participate in bidding on what is probably the best range of material ever offered by RMPL. As always, the USPS is participating in our show so please stop by to see the latest postal offerings. Lastly, don't forget to visit with the What's In Your Attic? table if you have collections gathering dust.
We are hosting a broad range of exceptional exhibit material for viewing. If you are new to the idea of exhibiting, these presentations are a great place to observe a full range of exhibit styles and contents. Whether a beginner or an experienced exhibitor, we invite you to exhibit at our future shows. Our judges represent the finest APS-accredited evaluators and our exhibiting winners are honored at the Awards Banquet.
I hope you can participate to the fullest extent in these activities and, once again, WELCOME! …Steve McGill, Chairman
