The images below show an accumulation of US stamps, most of which have been in glassine envelopes for the last 50 years. To my eye, untrained as I am in US stamps and even without a catalogue (My collections cover Australia, New Zealand and Canada), they seem a rather rag-tag bunch. Is there anything there that is worth something? If not, then I shall probably just give them away. The stamps in the third image are mostly mint but the gum is somewhat patchy.

I can provide a high resolution picture of any of these stamps if needed.

I also do not see anything special, but it would be a nice start for a US collection.

Thanks, guys. That's what I expected.

I do have one other thing. It's a cover sent from the US to the UK with the "A" stamps used for postage. According to the UPU, stamps without an explicit value are not supposed to be valid for international posts. It did, however, make it through without surcharge. Is this something that might be of interest to anyone?

Go ahead and use the mint stamps on your outgoing mail and give the rest away.

I'd check the watermark of the two $1 Wilson stamps. First page, seventh row. 832b was printed on USIR watermarked paper.
