Issued in 2008 to mark the centennial of the Royal Canadian Mint.
The 50c was 92.5% silver but the stamp looks like a
bronze or copper coin just dug out of the ground buried
for a hundred years.

Very nicely printed though by Lowe-Martin combining offset/litho
with embossing.

Canada
Scott/Unitrade 2274

The imprint of the embossing is quite clear on back.

The sheet of 16 is well laid out.

On September 24, 1976 India issued this 25 paise stamp (Sc #734) in honor of Maharaja Agrasen. A coin is shown on each side of the portrait.

From Wikipedia. "Maharaja Agrasen was a legendary king (maharaja) of Agroha (Agra), a city of trading...the Agrawal communities claim descent from him...(He) is known for his compassion in refusing to slaughter animals."
