This one is a little odd. Yes, there is a crease with a section torn out, but look where the perfs "should" be. Any ideas what could have happened here?

Possibly a stamp from the corner of the sheet and the crease is where the corner was folded on to the stamp and missed getting perforated on both edges.

That is what I thought, but wanted to hear it from someone else. I suppose that the sheets didn't have a selvedge.

Or someone was neat and removed the selvedge before using the stamp. I collect Latvia which has some of most misperforate stamps of any country and have seen a few even worse.

Is it common for Queen Victoria to move over that far left in the middle of the stamp?

Yes, I see lots of them like that at different positions. I would take that into consideration when grading as well.
