Looking through a lot I turn this stamp over and was surprised to find this imprint. What would cause this to happen? There is an indention where it appears to be a slanted stamp outline on the back.

Appears that two stamps were badly stored by stacking them on top of each other and then stuck together.

What caused the double set off on the back of the last stamp shown, where Mr. Jefferson has four eyes? Really wet ink?
